replace original top soil on top of other substrates then level off.there was an old pipe on site that i put in middle to make watering in centre easier,use what is available and tailor each cell to what you are growing!this was going to be used for squash or courgettes or pumpkins which thrive on muck rich soil,if it was for a tree then it would be different!
